Last Journey
In October 2020, Hussain ul Haque was diagnosed with cancer, marking the beginning of a challenging phase in his life. Despite his illness, he remained intellectually active, continuing his literary pursuits with the same passion and dedication.
During this time, he worked tirelessly to ensure the publication of two books by his father, the freedom fighter and educationist Maulana Anwarul Haque Shahoodi: Maqalat-e Maulana Shahoodi and Islam ka Roohani Nizam.
On 23rd December 2021, Hussain ul Haque passed away in Patna, Bihar. His last rites were performed in Sasaram, where he was laid to rest at Hazrat Makhdoom Saleh’s bagh graveyard, a resting place that echoes the legacy of a literary giant whose words continue to live on.
He left behind a rich literary legacy his books, articles, publications and libarary named as Maulana Anwarul Haque Urdu Library in New Karimganj, Gaya, which continues to inspire generations of students, youth, and Urdu writers and scholars.
